After reading an inspiring post by fellow equestrian blogger Cassidy Bock (check her out here), I thought I'd re-up my blog.
The thought of standing in front of a camera and promoting my business on YouTube stresses me way out; I prefer the little 1 minute clips I can post to Instagram. I've purposefully stopped turning the volume off my videos so watchers can hear my voice and teaching style, but that's as far as I've gone. In those moments when I'm teaching and videoing I'm not focused on "being on camera;" I'm focused on my student and their progress. I find that to be the most genuine representation of myself and my training style.
Cassidy has a similar opinion of being in front of the camera, and she reminded her readers that blogging is also a great way to express yourself without standing in front of the camera.
So here I am, blogging, writing, letting you all hear my voice (without actually having to hear my voice).
So "My Kick This Week" (MKTW) is writing! I am going to make a conscious effort to write more content, share more thoughts, and give you all a little insight to who I am. In the meantime, enjoy a video that you can actually hear my voice in. :)
