My students are pros and rolling with change, and here we go again!
After finding out at the beginning of July that our farm was sold and we once again had a matter of days to find a new home, it felt like very bad deja vu. I am so lucky to have cultivated wonderful equine friendships in the Triangle. I was so happy when I reached out to a wonderful friend, Anne, to find that she had spaces for us at her boarding facility, Blue Haven. I knew that they were a small close-knit community, and I was afraid of upsetting their balance, but after a very fun and welcoming evening this week I knew it was the place for us.
I am looking forward to getting to know all of the wonderful people and horses at this new facility, and I hope my students enjoy the challenge as much as I am learning to.
From our first day at Allsfine, to one of our last, our mares were happy there, my students learned a lot, and we grew through a shared experience.
I also want to introduce Bella! She'll be filling in some of where GF will be leaving off, though we can never quite fill Girlfriend's shoes!
A collection of some of my favorite moments and videos from the last year are below; I hope you find some that make you smile as well! (I'll be sharing more throwbacks on my Instagram @moonrivertraining)
