Moon river, yes, like the song

Tory was told growing up that her grandmother was mistaken for Audrey Hepburn at the New York premier of Breakfast at Tiffany's (never mind her grandmother no longer lived in NY and her dad would have been 5 years old already). Since then, it's been one of her favorite movies. In it Audrey sings one song, Moon River.

About Tory

Tory brings decades of equine and human training to a new generation of rider. She has trained with longtime linchpin of the Eastern North Carolina equestrian world Suzy Schertzinger, USEF "R" Judge Carol Dean-Porter, dressage and horsemanship guru Helen Ingersoll, eventing and quirky horse lover Genevieve Andrews, and ridden with Greg Eliel, Gail Kaneriem, Robin Tinney, and Amy Hazard, among many others.

She spent her early years in horses saying yes to every training project, challenging horse, and bit of ride time she could get. She competed exclusively on horses that she trained from the Novice division on up (see adorable greys, her Welsh Pony Allsfine B'N the Blue and her OTTB Southern Slew, and beautiful bays her current mounts Hanoverian mare Carolina's Clover and AQHA mare Zara, we won't admit to her registered name). She loves working with owners and their horses to develop strong bonds that carry over into competition and beyond.
