River

Moon River “River” is an 8 year old, big bodied, 14hh Welsh X mare. She did the kids’ pony job with her previous owner, but really shines over larger fences with her professional owner and teen half leaser. She has shown a talent in both the hunter and jumper rings and has proven to be bold to the fences. She spent 2024 and 2025 showing 2’ with her riders to gain confidence in the show ring. She has a green lead change. She is not suitable for a beginner rider, mostly because she is happiest jumping bigger fences and does best when getting consistent good work. She has easily done 3' with her teen rider at home, and is ready to take on larger fences at shows in 2026.
